Warped Sportz's Jawwbraker Video Series Now Available from No Fear
October 4, 2002

Warped Sportz continues to innovate and open new doors for paintball. No Fear, a household name in motorcross and action sports apparel, has agreed to carry Warped Sportz Entertainment’s latest production, Jawwbraker Video Series: Episode I.

Starting in October, No Fear will stock a small amount of copies of the paintball video Jawwbraker: Episode I in its stores.

“We’ll see what happens from there,” said Dan Napoli, Warped Sportz Director of Marketing. “The fact that a paintball video is going to be available on the shelves of an action sports lifestyle store, a store that doesn’t even carry paintball products, is incredibly significant. Kids are going to be able to get a cool paintball video right next motorcross videos like Crusty’s and Seth Enslow’s The Hard Way. Opportunities like this just continue to show the world paintball as the sport it is, not just something celebrities do for fun or something out on the fringe.”

No Fear has been a staple in the motorcross industry and has seen a huge resurgence in its brand’s popularity over the last two years, being represented by the likes of top name motorcross riders  such as Travis Pestrana and Carey Hart. No Fear has roughly 25 stores throughout Southern California and will stock Jawwbraker in about half of them.

“We were always hoping for something along these lines as far as distribution for the Jawwbraker project,” said Executive Producer and Warped CEO Ed Poorman. “Our whole team that worked on the project, from Dan to [Jawwbraker Director] Brad [Maughan] had tried to make something appealing to the current paintball market and be interesting to outsiders as well.”

Jawwbraker: Episode II is scheduled to release in late November / early December. The production will have a slightly more hardcore paintballer direction while at the same time further expanding into action sports lifestyle aspects.

“We will have a stronger focus on tournament action, and a more subtle focus on music,” said Napoli. “On the other hand, we’re going to have footage from the Immortal skate team and possibly a BMX segment. People will get a little taste of the rest of the action sports world, but at the end of the day we’re really going after their appetite for paintball tournament highlights.”
