Division X Tournament Series Event #4
Division X

The 4th stop of the Division X Tournament Series was held at Weekend Warriors Northwest in Marquam, OR. Saturday May 10th. The Division X Tournament Series is a first in the Northwest as it features the new X Ballä format.

Weekend Warriors is one of three tournament fields throughout Oregon being used by Division X. Warpaint Outdoor in Salem and Southern Oregon Extreme Paintball in Medford make up the other two locations. All three locations are providing Sup Air fields on grass for the X- Ballä matches.

Partly cloudy skies kept the temperatures just right for a day of paintball in the northwest. Previous Division X matches have had their share of rain.

In the rookie division RottenPaintball.com Factory Team continues to be undefeated in the series. Portland Paintball, Deception, Ruination and Solid Reign follow close with only 1 loss each. There are a total of 10 rookie teams that are registered to play at each event.

The open class division had 4 of the 5 registered teams scheduled for this event. Newcomers to the series, Red Cell, who fielded a Naughty Dog, walked away with a win over Shock Advised, in what was the closest match of the day, 7 to 6. In the other open class match, Fracture, who reffed the rookie division, still managed to find enough energy to come out of the first half with a 4 to 1 lead over Shock Advised 2. In the second half of the match Fracture maintained their lead to the end with a 9 to 3 win.
