Ronn Stern & WARPIG.com Unite!

Ronn Stern, paintball’s favorite artist, and his management team announced today that the World And Regional Paintball Information Guide, better known to the world as the legendary WARPIG, has signed on to become the official Internet resource of the Ronn Stern® Paintball Camps, the Pepsi® Mid-Atlantic Classic™ presented by National Paintball Supply, and the Old Dominion Tournament Series™.

Ronn Stern, the artist behind the signature on a massive collection of paintball-related artwork including the William Shatner SPPLAT Attack movie poster, the official programs of the Diablo International Amateur Open and Zap Skyball, promotional advertisements and artwork for the MXS series of scenario games, the cover of official media sponsor Paintball 2Xtremes Magazine and a new full-color comic known as “FPS” to be produced in Crossfire Paintball Magazine, has traveled across the United States promoting paintball through his unique and popular artwork for many years. In the months to come, Ronn Stern’s paintball artwork will be featured on Pepsi® trucks, as, in a momentous move to bring paintball into the new millennium, Pepsi® has recently become a major sponsor of Ronn Stern’s paintball events. Ronn Stern’s paintball events for the 2003 season and beyond include Ronn Stern ® Paintball Camps, where players from across the world will converge on SplatBrothers PaintBall’s™ Ultimate Air Ball fields near Richmond to play with and learn from the greatest talent in the game of paintball including Rocky Cagnoni, Bea Youngs, Tom Kaye, John Call, Joshua D. Silverman and Shannon Mahone, and several tournaments including the Pepsi® Mid-Atlantic Classic™ presented by National Paintball Supply. “Bringing WARPIG aboard as our official Internet resource is a great partnership. WARPIG has always been about growing the sport of paintball for the right reasons, for the benefit of everyone, as are we, and our partnership will allow us to bring the latest news and information on all of our events to the entire paintball world in the best and quickest ways possible. Also, WARPIG provides us with a wealth of knowledge and experience on every aspect of the sport of paintball from which we can draw, and we are proud to be associated with the leaders in paintball on the Internet,” said Ronn Stern as the deal was concluded.

WARPIG, the World And Regional Information Guide, was the first paintball website on the Internet, and has since become the leading paintball website in the industry. Providing often imitated but never emulated coverage of every major paintball event from the NPPL and PSP to the Draxxus International Amateur Open and the entire circuit of scenario and recreational events in addition to technical articles, press releases and some of the first chat rooms and message boards in the game, WARPIG has been there to help the sport grow since the very beginning. Referred to as “paintball’s home on the Internet” by Paintball 2Xtremes Magazine, WARPIG and its creators, Bill and Dawn Mills, are beloved by the entire paintball industry.
