Clash of the Titans
PRESS RELEASE

PMI and Guerrilla Warfare to host 'Clash of the Titans' Dec. 1-3, 2000

In what will certainly be a paintball event of epic proportions,
two of the scenario scene's most well known personalities will square off
near Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Dec. 1-3, as Guerrilla Warfare Paintball
Games hosts "Clash of the Titans."
Produced by Pursuit Marketing Inc., in conjunction with Bill "Z"
McClure, this will be a one-time-only opportunity for paintball players, as
Kerry "Viper" Rosenberry - scenario producer of Viper Enterprises - and
Patrick "Pacman" McKinnon - of the Mackz Xtreme Sportz nationwide scenario series - go head-to-head in a struggle for world domination in a
post-apocalyptic story.
Sponsored by FBRadio, JT USA, Paintballstuff.com, Psychoballistics, Redz Comfort Gear, Scott USA and Tippmann Pneumatics (with more signing
up!), this three-day paintball event is being hailed as "The scenario season's
last blast."
Paul Devane of PMI Southeast explains: "When I heard about the format,
Pacman and Viper head-to-head, and the name - 'Clash of the Titans' -
I knew it was an opportunity to do something special in the way of a
scenario game. I am excited about the prospects for a monumental game that will be talked about by the players for a very long time."
Hundreds of players from around the country are expected to
arrive at the field in Greenwell Springs on Friday, Dec. 1, to participate in
the many activities scheduled throughout the event. A huge event trade show
with vendors on-site include gun-tech classes all day Friday; there will be pump and stock class games, entertainment and a live Internet broadcast by
FBRadio host Dale Ford and the Wise Brothers, a band, and a boatload
of "free stuff" from the event sponsors given away to the players throughout
the weekend.
The 24-hour scenario game will begin noon on Saturday and will play
through until noon Sunday
"Early pre-registration" is Nov. 1, with a special drawing of these players. One lucky participant will take home an LCD Angel!
"Pre-registration" is Nov. 15. Early and pre-registration is $45.00. All
early and pre-registered players will receive a commemorative event
patch and Saturday dinner at the event. All entries postmarked after
11-15-00 will be considered walk-on, at $55.00 per player without patch or meal.
PMI is pulling out all the stops. Not only will there be pre- and post-game prize drawings, but there will also be one paintball marker given
away PER HOUR during play!
Whoever you decide to support, choose your side wisely:
Vipernicus - Warlord of the West, or Pacmanus - Warlord of the East.

     The story:
2010: Out of the ashes rose two great warlords, each leading massive,
well-armed warriors, bent on total domination. A new feudal system is reborn
from the old.  An uneasy alliance was reached and preserved over the last
two years, but with scarce resources and over-population came the need for
territorial expansion.  No one clearly knows the history between these to
brothers, but some long-lost story holds the secret to their sworn vengeance
upon each other. Two disparate opinions of how and who should lead this new
world clashed:
Each Warlord seeks to subjugate the other and place himself upon the throne
and call what little is left of the Earth his.  Each has been heard to grumble the words of old, "There can be only one..."
