Challenge Park Xtreme to Host Mountain Bike 'N Shoot Competitions

Joliet, Illinois, January 24, 2002- Challenge Park Xtreme announced today that it will host two Mountain Bike 'n Shoot competitions, scheduled for May
25th and 26th and September 1st and 2nd of this year.

The Mountain Bike 'n Shoot competition will combine the extreme sports of
Mountain Biking and Paintball in one exciting event. Participants will journey down cross-country trails on mountain bikes, stopping at designated areas to shoot Paintball markers at targets for points, during this timed event. As this competition is still a new concept and combines two sports, it is expected to attract over a hundred participants and spectators.

Both Mountain Bike 'N Shoot competitions are part of larger extreme sports
events to be held at Challenge Park Xtreme. The Challenge Cup Weekend,
May 24-27th, includes the world-renowned Challenge Cup Paintball tournament, an appearance by a freestyle BMX superstar, a live concert by a nationally known band, a freestyle BMX competition and BMX race.

The Summer of Stars weekend, August 30th to September 2nd, revolves
around a Paintball charity game featuring many celebrities, including William
Shatner, best known for his portrayal of Captain Kirk in television and films. This event alone is expected to attract thousands of participants and spectators. Besides the Mountain Bike 'N Shoot and William Shatner, the
Summer of Stars weekend will feature a skateboarding superstar appearance, a live concert, a freestyle BMX competition, BMX and mountain biking races,
and several other sideshow events.
