WPF and Zap Paintball Announces Prizes for Skyball 2001
PRESS RELEASE 

NASHVILLE, TN: January 22, 2001: The World Paintball Federation and
ZAP Paintball announced, today, the prize purse for ZAP Skyball 2001, the
world's largest and most prestigious indoor tournament. Hosted by the
SkyDome in Toronto, Canada, on March 9 and 10, ZAP Skyball 2001 will
attract over 150 five-player teams from around the world, all competing for
over $100,000 in cash and prizes.

Skyball 2001 will feature 3, independent classes of competition: Amateurs,
Novice, and Rookies. The Amateur teams will be competing for $18,500
in cash plus $20,000 in prizes. 
1st place will receive $7500 cash and a ZAP Paintball Customized Team Trailer, 2nd place will receive $5000 cash, 3rd place will receive $3500 cash, 4th place will receive $2500 cash. A ZAP Sportsmanship Award, consisting of 5 W.D.P. Angels, 5 ZAP team jerseys, and 60 cases of ZAP Performance Plus Paintballs, will be presented, as well, to the Amateur team that best exemplifies the sportsmanship ideals established in the WPF/ZAP code of conduct.

The Novice teams will also be competing for a ZAP Paintball Customized Team Trailer, as well as $30,000 in paintball gear, including W.D.P. Angels,
Comfort Paks from Redz, and Scott Bucks from Scott U.S.A. ZAP Paintball,
likewise, will present the team winning the Novice Sportsmanship Award with
5 Indian Creek Design Bushmasters, 5 ZAP team jerseys, and 60 cases of ZAP Performance Plus Paintballs.

The Rookie teams will be competing for over $30,000 in paintball gear, as
well, including S.T.O. Autocockers from Worr Game Products, Comfort
Paks from Redz, and barrels from J&J Performance. ZAP will also present,
to the team that wins the ZAP Sportsmanship Award in the Rookie class, 5
Impulse Markers from Smart Parts, 5 ZAP team jerseys, and 60 cases of ZAP
Performance Plus Paintballs.

Additional prizes from National Paintball Supply-North America, Kingman
International, Unique Pro Gear, , Champions Paintball, Airgun Design, Brass
Eagle, A.C.I. Sports, Custom Products, J.T. U.S.A., Center Flag Productions,
Crossfire Inc., and AKALMP will be awarded in every class, as well.
