To me, there are three dominate types of games out there.

Speedball Tournament: The athletic game played on clean fields pushing for "Sport" status.

Scenerio: Highly organized, planned, and orchestrated events that takes alot of resources for the field to setup and the player to attend.

Rec Ball: Anything that anybody can attend on the spur of the moment, not event based, and the player can show up with $10=100 and be just fine for the day.

Sorry for the boring definitions. :)
