For what it is worth...

I and many of my teammates have won subscriptions
many many times at various games ran by variuos
promotors. I do not know of a single subcription
that has been honored by the publications that
offered them... I know that's little help for you.

It is not the field or the promotor as some
might have us believe - It's the publication...
I have just kinda gotten use to it, and - I never
claim a subcription when I "supposedly" win one -
anymore... Of coarse, if we all stop claiming
the "free" subcriptions, maybe the publications
will stop offering them and go away... One can
always hope.

Maybe someone out there has a positive comment
on this...?

Hey, your subscription runs out in 6 months...
better go ahead a renew...!
