So there is still hope for the Precision Bayonet Team and the Campus Improvised Flame Thrower Club!

You could also use this approach, "Well, they didn't let Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold have their pictures in the year book either!" "Fascist!" - and then calmly mumble something like, "I'll be back"

Seriously though, have your picture taken without a marker if they really want to dig in their heels.

: Calmly state to them that their logic is flawed, since then no sports using sticks (bats, hockey, lacrosse, etc.) could be included according to the weapon definition. Explain that paintball is the safest, fastest growing sport on the planet. If you get stonewalled, then you lose, but you tried.
