In 12 years of playing rec-ball, I have never seen anyone play with nitrogen. What I have seen alot, is compressed air in what were marketed as 'nitrogen bottles'.

Do they call it nitrogen because that's all they could get at 4000psi in 1990? Or, because the air we breathe is 70% nitrogen? Or, because a few people actually play with nitrogen? I don't know for sure.
