Bailey's games are some of the very best scenario games out there. For us WWII aficionados, his series is the greatest thing going!

He incorporates historical facts, has interesting missions, has rules that MAKE SENSE, and keeps things interesting without getting too complex.

(Some scenario producers get carried away with details that they THINK demonstrate their own creativity, but in fact the long lists of extra rules and "if this then that" stuff really just make games unnecessarily complicated and frustrating and hard to follow - not just for the kids, but even many of the adults ... sometimes their own refs are unclear on the concepts because they're so convoluted!)

Bailey is not getting rich by doing this - he truly loves scenario paintball and genuinely has as a primary goal that people have a lot of FUN. (There's no way he's making big bucks by doing his series - we've seen his HOUSE!)

As for paint, there are ALWAYS complaints about the paint. Not just Bailey's games but EVERY other game we've been to! Some people don't know how to adjust for cold temps. Some people don't complain about the paint until AFTER they've been ambushed and eliminated in an embarrassing way (blaming the paint for their own bad luck or mistakes, maybe?). True, some of the paintballs in any batch won't be perfect, and those may be the ones that break in your marker - these things happen. But we also hear (almost every time that we hear complaints) some people say "I didn't have any trouble with the paint."

And we've noticed that the players at the highest skill level are LESS likely to be the ones to complain about paint. They know their markers and take good care of them, they don't tend to "spray and pray" (by taking fewer but more carefully aimed shots, they reduce the odds of coming across a bad paintball), and they have many other skills that they can use to their advantage even if the paint isn't perfect.

Do we go to BYOP games? Yes. If we have 2 games to choose between, and one is BYOP, will that always be the one we choose? Absolutely not. Many other factors are more important to us, and we are not alone in having other criteria by which we evaluate which games we go to.

We will go to many, if not most, of Bailey's games in the coming year's series of WWII themed games. They are simply among the very best scenario games out there!
