Old River Paintball in Ocklawaha, FL will host the first tale of "Myths" - the MXS nationwide series of events in 2005 - with "Avalon."

Avalon is a mystical realm of ages past and a source of enchantment for all times. It was the Isle of Avalon where King Arthur’s magical sword Excalibur was forged, and where he was brought for his wounds to be healed following his final battle with his nephew, Mordred.

Players will enter the realm of Camelot after Lancelot and Guinevere have been accused of high treason by Sir Gawain, with Lancelot leaving the castle for Benwick and Guinevere being sentenced to the stake.
Lancelot rescues Guinevere, slaying knights to do it. Arthur takes arms against Lancelot, leaving Camelot and placing Mordred in charge. Sir Mordred, wanting to be king and marry Guinevere, tells the remaining knights that King Arthur was killed in battle with Sir Lancelot, and is made king.

Arthur and his knights now must take back what is theirs.

Join us as we explore this ancient myth and re-tell the tale of Arthur and Mordred.

The event dates are Feb. 26-27.
The pre-registration discount ends Feb. 9.

Commander candidates are requested to contact mother@mxsportz.com.

More information will be found soon at www.mxsportz.com

Players may call Old River at 352-288-5840.

We look forward to seeing you there!
