I have to side with Kyle without knowing more. The safest thing I could think of along these lines (with lack of sleep and a really long day) would be dry ice and water. Although I don't know if that would release enough gas to generate enough pressure to shoot anything.

Although it might be a really good source for smoke, if it didn't aphixiate you that is.
