12 grams are expensive, but in the greater picture, most people are sending $1.00's worth of paint in a cannon shot, so what's another $.50? Small, predictable package of CO2 you can count on to do the same think every time. That's why I like it for the novices or first timers. I'll teach anyone how to build a 12gram powered cannon, but am reluctant on this other stuff that you and I build. Too easy to over do it and get someone hurt.
