We HAD a CB for a while--- It's lonely out there.

The portable ones aren't too portable, so no ground support will carry one.

GMRS kept us well connected with the vast majority of radio users and is portable so you can take it with you for night play.

The Nextel is prime material for security, but you loose the ability to evesdrop.

So..... the best setup..... Nextel with GMRS riding shotgun
