NPT steel and PVC fittings are rated for standard water pressures. 125-150 psi.

Wells, and rural water supplies plus shock loads from washer solenoids closing and opening will spike pressures higher than that but not sustained pressures.

That is WHY many fields REQUIRE and INSPECT FOR CANNONS with pressure regulators, guages to show the operating pressures, and a POP OFF Safety valve factory set at 150 psi (should the regulator fail) for cannons made from these materials. Basic safety stuff....

Otherwise for higher pressures you will need to use pneumatic fittings RATED for the Pressures you are using. You won't find them at Home Depot.

Go to the local pneumatic supplier and or compressed air supplier.
