Cmdr. Sam mg.5902,

I think the vehicle you are looking for is the Marder ll or lll. It has a sheilded fighting compartment but open at the top (watch out for those paint grenades). How large are you planning on building the structure? When I built the Pzkfw VI i based the hull on the frame of the riding lawn mower but because it was quite ( I'll say it was a humble experience) large the lawn mower never could give me the stability and manuverability first envisioned. I did succeed in giving my neighbor something to laugh about for the next week or two. If perserverence and the labor of love didn't overcome all the design changes and disapointments I don't know if it would have gotten off the ground.

Pz. Cmdr. Pzkfw VI
