The difference is the main body has milling done to it at the front near the barrel. The minimag stock comes with a shorter barrel 10" i think. and in some cases they come with a vertical asa adapter. The minimag also usually comes with a set of rubber grips alittle more comfortable.As for performance no difference as they share the same 68 automag classic valve ( though it might say minimag on the vlave). There you have it
