: I have a M98 costum and i want to add a little mork kick to it. My friend got an expansion chamber on his gun. I was wondering what do you think is better a expasion chamber or a anti sipon. Also if the expansion chamber is better which one should i get? Depends on your play situation... If you have the tank on-gun, then I'd recommend anti-siphon. Though, really, the M98 doesn't freeze up with liquid CO2, unlike Spyders, etc.; the only real problem with getting liquid in an M98 is that your gas efficiency goes even lower. If you run remote, don't bother with an anti-siphon--it won't help. An the remote If you play in colder weather, then even with a remote, an expansion chamber will help some with velocity reduction from shoot-down (but really, if you are playing in cold weather, you should go HPA). If you play in hot weather, the expansion chamber will help prevent velocity spikes. I have ACI expansion chambers on both my M98's; I bought them b/c that was the only thing the store had. They work pretty well. Others might recommend different/better ones. =RT=
(M98's are gas hogs, as are all open bolt blow-backs.)
kind of acts like an expansion chamber, too.
