I am in a discussion with a friend about how air (as a power source) was brought to the sport of paintball. I seem to remember something somewhere about LPA (low pressure air). If I remember right, LPA was a regulated CO2 tank filled to about 1700 psi. This technology naturally evolved to today's HPA systems.

Is this right? Can anyone tell me more about LPA?
