: Anybody done it at home? I have a leak around the neck and would like to check the condition of the o-ring. thanks to all who reply,Al.

The easiest way I have found (depending on the shape of the regulator) is to clamp the reg into a vice and use a strap wrench on the cylinder. Be careful though, I have seen a few reg companies put loctite on the threads.
