The Matrix needs an adjustable regulator, since the gas pressure it is putting out determines the velocity at which it will fire.

Fortunately, there is a regulator included with the Matrix, so you won't need to buy another.

The Matrix runs at a low enough pressure that it can work with a low output Crossfire reg feeding it, but it will also work just fine with a high output model feeding it as well.
