: saw round tanks at cup ?2? years ago, guy said that tanks were holding way more air than it looked due to round design being stronger/thinner.

: somebody today said that they saw a 70ci ?3000? round tank for sale.

Both Crossfire and WGB are making systems utilizing the 70-72 cu. in. cylinders. However they are not any stronger that a standard wrapped cylinder that you use now. Also, that are completely 'round'. They are just extremely short and fat.
If you look at the newest Paintball 2 Xtreme magazine (December), there is one in their new product spotlight on page 29.
