Metal or Fiber Wrap?

I am thinking of going Nitro, but I dont want to spend a whole lotta cash on a system, Im on a budget, only running a TL+ and Dont need an Air America 88ci 4500psi with double adjustable reg and super fiber wrapped, but I am noticing that My CO2 has been REALLY in-consistent lately, and am worrying that TO get a better expansion chamber and reg and an anti-syphon CO2 bottle, I might as well get a small, cheap nitro and not worry about the CO2 which might STILL not be consistent after those upgrades, am I right? Now to the question. I am trying not to spend more than $150 bucks, and would prefer less than $100. I am probably going for the small end, 47ci at 3000psi. I can get a metallic one from Kingman or Crossfire for $80 or a Fiber Wrap for $140. I would rather get the metal, and save some bucks for a barrel (or Xbox Live, he he) but I hear they are heavier than wrap. I knew that Carbon Fober tanks are lighter, but for the same ci and psi, how much lighter is a fiber wrap? I hear they are also more fragile than aluminum, and since I play Rec mostly, I want something rough and tumble I case I slip trying to gap a trench or something. I have a remote line, coil, thick hose, and am currently on a 20oz CO2, Would a 47ci Aluminum be less, more or comperable to a 20? |
