: yeah, i heard about that flash filling, why would someone make a tank that cant handel being filled? flash filling doesnt sound like a bad idea, cept for the AA

Technically, you are only supposed to fill at the rate of 1000 psi per minute. Hot fills are not good for you or the tank. The whole problem is with heat. If the ambient temperature is say 90 degrees and you fast(hot or flash) fill and the temperature of the tank exceeds the manufacture's
recommendation you could be shortening the life of your tank.
