Macro-line question

I split the hose from my verticle bottle adapter to the air intake on my Carbine and I need to know if I can use Macro-line hose.

I'm running CO2 remote with an expansion chamber in the verticle bottle adapter.

I live in lower NY, but play mostly at EMR in northern PA.

I was told it should be ok, but to carry extra tubing... and that the tube may split with feild temperature changes.

Am I better off just getting steel braid hose?
