Nitro tank - air tank, the same thing. One thing though, you might want to contact tippmann about using Nitro/Air on the A-5. Below is an e-mail I recieved from them

[[The A-5 update includes a new ratchet, feeder axle, piston, and two ratchet pins on the
cyclone feeder. The upgrade is free when you send us your gun.
Send it into us, and we will replace/fix the problem for you. Make the package out to
the address below, and put Attention:Service on the box. Include a note describing what
you are having us do with the it. Also include your daytime phone number as well as
your address. It usually only takes a day (two at the most) to complete, then however long
it takes to ship. If you have shipping questions, call our shipping dept. at either number
below.

Stock A-5's with serial numbers past 13171, and A-5's with RT's installed with serial numbers
past 27051 will have the updated parts in them. Guns with serial number BEFORE these
numbers, have the old parts, and are eligible for the update. Guns with serial numbers
AFTER these numbers, already have the updated parts included in them.

When using Nitrogen/Compressed Air, the cyclone feeds extremely fast. So fast, that if
fragile paint is used, this could casue breakage. We suggest getting a flow control ($15)
for the Cyclone, so you can adjust the air pressure going into the feed system, and this
will allow you to speed up/slow down the feeder, depending on what paint you are using.

Thank You
