Here is my background:
Been playing paintball for about 6 years, owned about 4 different guns and my classic powerfeed mag is my latest addition. I run a HPA 3000/68ci crossfire tank, (and sometime C02) a lapco barrel and a 9v revy. (no remote or expansion chamber or anything, just on a bottom line)

ok, here are my experiences with my automag and C02:
First of all, I really REALLY like my automag. Its awesome, a big step up from my spyder when it works right. That said, it doesn't like Co2 when the weather is cold. even in mildly cool weather, it doesn't LOVE the C02, but it shoots. The problem I have when i do use C02 with my mag is that, if i shoot with a high ROF for very long, the bolt will jam up and the internals get locked together, freez and stick on the inside. Not fun. However, if your going to be playing in reasonably warm weather, on a remote, etc... (might think about an expansion chamber if things don't work) i don't think it'll be a HUGE issue. Remember, this gun is old, but still very good. It was designed to run on co2, so if you set it up right, it will. The instruction tape they send you with the gun has demonstrations of the guys shooting it, and you can see that they just have a HUGE long braded steel hose to connect the tank and the gun, to prevent liquid. So, in short, you can make it work for you on C02. Sorry i rambled a bit, but GL with everything.
