: I have a CO2 tank and a HPA tank. Is it bad to get them filled and let them sit for a while? or is it better to just shoot it out and refill it? : Thanks My experiences are like this. I've been told by my local store/field owner to never to let a HPA tank go without some pressure, reason is some pressure keeps the seals/o-rings set in place. If it goes entirely empty the seals can unseat themselves and then going to fill it later would result in leaks. As for CO2, I've been told this; If you're playing regularly then some co2 in the tanks is fine between outings. For long term storage (example winter) I always empty my tanks. Less chance of a burst disk rupturing due to temperature fluctuations. |
