: I have a question whats th difference between an expansion chamber and a gas through grip the gas through grip i have is alot like a expansion chamber, the bottomline screws right into the bottom of it making it like another low pressure chamer.

A gas thru grip has a narrow gas path - it's purpose is to be a grip, and not need a hose to go up around it, the gas goes thru it instead.

An expansion chamber is designed to allow CO2 to enter from the tank, and exchange heat to warm up to the ambient (temperature of the air around you) temperature. An expansion chamber has more of an internal volume than the GTG, to allow more gas to be affected by it, and it will usually have internal fins or baffles, and often fins or undulations or something other than a flat surface on the outsude, to increase gas contact area for maximum heat transfer. The idea is that the closer the gas gets to the ambient temperature, the more stable its pressure will be.
