Hey, I just got a 50Lb Co2 tank, and I'm having a bit of a problem filling tanks to capacity. A guy gives me a 16oz tank... I let out his remaining ounce of air and I procede to fill it. He's sitting there wacthing the scale as it climbs... it gets to about 9.2 and stops. I can't get any more air in. The only way I can get it to fill all the way to 12.0 oz is to put about 3 or 4 oz of air in, chill the tank, let that out and start cold. If this is how it goes, I'm actually using 15 oz for a 12oz tank, and so on etc...
Is there a better way???
Thanks,
Comstox
