: I am unsure when exactly my nitrogen tank is going to reach its recertification date I have never had it tested yet. I am not sure when I got the tank. I know that it has to be recertified every three years. Is there a marking on the tank that would indicate the recertification date? There are many different numbers on my tank and I can’t find one that would answer my question. (I'm probably just missing something.) : Thanks in advance. There's a number code like 10-IA11-01, which stands for 10/01 - which means it needs to be hydrotested by 10/01/2004. Certain carbon fiber tanks mfg after June 2002 (IIRC) now have a 5 year hydrotest schedule. Tom |
