CO2 and air are both gases and if you fill them in a bottle at the same pressure, they would react the same, so why do you need special bottles for CO2 and special bottles for HP air? : Thank you for answering! : Marco North CO2 bottles CANNOT handle 4500psi or even 3000psi. CO2 bottles are rated at 1800psi and are just that, bottles. It is filled by weight (i.e. "20 ounce" bottle) CO2 is stored inside the bottle as a liquid. CO2 pressure is mostly dependent on the temperature. Here's a chart and explanation: HPA tanks are filled by pressure. They are rated for 3000psi or 4500psi and include a regulator to output the gas at a stable pressure (usually ~850psi). Tom |
