: is the fitting for a co2 cannister the same in the usa as in england. Yes - it's commonly called the ASA "Air Source Adaptor". :also can a co2 cannister be used for compressed air. No, compressed air needs a regulator. It's stored as a gas in tanks that are usually rated at 3000psi or 4500psi and then regulated down to usually 800psi. CO2 is stored as a liquid and it's pressure is based on temperature and %fill.
