: I have an 80 cubic foot 3000 PSI scuba tank and i was wondering how many fills i'd get from it, does anyone know?

Assumptions:

1) 80 cf scuba tank = 679 ci (water capacity)
2) 68 ci paintball tank
3) Temp = 70° F
4) Scuba tank is filled to 3000 psi, paintball
tank is empty. After first fill, paintball tank
is emptied to 1000 psi, and refilled. This is
repeated.

Pressure after first fill: 2727 psi
Pressure after second fill: 2570 psi
Pressure after third fill: 2427 psi
Pressure after fourth fill: 2297 psi
Pressure after fifth fill: 2179 psi
Pressure after sixth fill: 2071 psi

These are "ideal" examples, your results may vary, but not by much.
