Get the dye if you like it. At that level, all autocockers are the same. Don't worry about the warranty claims for two reasons. 1.If the dye messes up bad, they will fix it. 2.99% of autococker problems are tiny and can be fixed with a $.50 o-ring or adjustment. The lifetime warranty is nice, but I have never met anyone who sends a gun in, pays shipping, waits 2-3 weeks just to have the timming adjusted. Free-Flow was smart to advertise the lifetime warranty and low cocking pressure. After all that is what everyone talks about, but those two ideas have been around since forever. If you are still unsure, then call dye and ask about their polocies on new gun repairs.

: Ok fellow targets,
: I see a lot of these types of questions and I'm sure it get annoying sometimes, but here goes anyway.

: I was about to purchase a custom Freeflow cocker until I handled a Dye cocker. I love the milling they did on it, but how does it compare to the Freeflow as far as equipment and performance?

: The Dye is about 300 less.
: The freeflow does come with a lifetime warranty which is a plus. And I know what will go into it when I order it.

: The Dye, well not sure what all has been done to it.

: I'm tempted to purchase the Dye and if there needs to be enhancements or upgrades have them done if needed at a later date.

: Thanks
