: I know a lot of ppl don't consider this marker high-end but its price is near to the price of other high-end guns. My biggest question is can it come close to the performance of a stock mag or cocker(which are close to it in price)?

I looked at them while at the Paintball Expo but I didn't get a chance to fire it at the range.

It's light, I'd say the lightest gun by Tippmann yet. It didn't seem like you could get the ROF as a stock Automag, but you'd need to try it out. When they come out with the electro & RT upgrade later this year it should be able to keep up - of course, that adds more to the price.

The star feed seems promising, but my big worry would be reliability - it is a Tippmann but some of the star feed is made of plastic (you can hear a plastic click when you cycle the loader reset - it's like an M16 bolt assist).

IMHO, it's a good plug-and-play paintgun that's a step up from the M98.

Tom
