If you're looking for something that's like a 'cocker, but harder to short-stroke and never (well, unless you mess with it) goes out of time, get a Blazer! I recently picked one up, used for about $320. Brand new, nicely equipped, (2x .45 frame, centerfeed, stabilizer) you're probably looking around $600-700, depending on options. Mine is the most basic model, the only option being a ported 10.5" barrel and a cheapie aftermarket regulator. It's just as accurate as an Autococker (with the same paint/barrel match), lighter, smaller, and more reliable. Plus, I went through about 1600 rounds on Saturday with it, short-stroked a few times (mine's got a longer, heavier trigger than current models) but didn't chop a single ball and was shooting +/- 5fps on CO2. Check out www.palmer-pursuit.com for more info.
