first rule: paint changes size w/time and weather. second rule: what size the paint is supposed to be by manufacturer and what it is are differant. third rule: since you cannot know what size paint is in advance you must size paint to barrel onsite. take barrel off- try to blow paint thru barrel -if you turn purple and nothing comes out, too small. if it falls right thru w/out blowing- could be too big*** if you have a choice in too big vs too small -take too big. do this at least a few times in case you have variance within the batch/bags. : OK, measured the old Boomstick today. .687 on the dot. : In an effort to solve problems with anything else, I need to know the hands down best paint for that barrel on my Cocker. Price is no object since I doubt I'll run through more than a case getting the bugs out. Since it is a cocker, the paint HAS to match the barrel well. I'm sick of them rolling out. : So whats the best paint for my gun? Also whats a good paint in thew $40-60 a case price range for rec ball?
