"Tweaked out cocker design that I think is overpriced for what you get." Define 'overpriced' please. For $450, you can get a stock vertical feed Blazer that comes with Palmer's pneumatics standard (duh, what else would he use?), which, from my experience, far outshine the stock pneus on a base-level 'Cocker. Unless you mess with it, it's nearly impossible to get a Blazer out of time. It's smaller, lighter, and doesn't have a bunch of doo-dads hanging off the front with airlines just begging to get hit or snagged on a branch or bush. Sure, barrel selection is somewhat limited, but the stock barrel it comes with is of a better quality that 75% of the aftermarket barrels out there. If you just have to have a Boomstick, they can be machined down to fit, but a Freak won't ever fit...sorry. The one area that the Blazer can't match the 'Cocker in is gadgetude. That is, you spend $350 for a stock 'Cocker. Then $250 for a Freak set, $50 for a Revy, $150 to replace the pneus with whatever the trendy brand is at the time, $50 for the super anti-gravity high-flow bolt that "everybody has"...etc, etc. -Chad |
