The matrix isn't a big gas hog, but it is one. I don't think as bad as the shocker in some cases, but it also isn't closed bolt either. The timmie is an interesting gun. It is basically just like the imp. It even gets a first shot low problem with some. The original had a really uncomfortable (in my opinion) grip from design but the new ones are fortyfives. I personally didn't like the really light trigger, also. It was too light and hard to get a rythm on at first. I can do it now if I want to, but I prefer my magno blade trigger. Not a bad gun however, works very well. Has multimode fire and adjust rof. Digital dwell adjustment and cocking and firing pressure adjustments. All velocity adjustments are done by the regs. Very adjustable trigger, and an easy strip bolt are also added. Not a bad consideration. I would recommend firing anything you want first, however. Just better to know the feel.
