: Hey everyone... This barrel looks exactly (well, almost... I talk about this a little later) like the Aradus barrel from PsychoBallistics. The team that I was running for the last two years was talking with PsychoBallistics about a sponsorship for 2002, when their barrel started appearing in magazine ads. They offered laser engraving (whatever you wanted to print) for a minimal fee. The only thing that looks different in the muzzle break. The way the barrel looked when looking at the interior of the barrel, the way it worked, the sizing, even the tourney lock... it all looked the same, with the exception of the barrel extension after the "sizing" element (breeech-side) of the barrel. I will say that I personally had good accuracy with the test barrel that we received. It chronographed about 30fps lower than a boomstick when the paint was matched properly. The only real problem that we had was that it didn't accept mixed batches of paint well. If you were shooting some old paint at practice (like you have two or three partial bags of paint and were just getting rid of the old stuff) we suffered alot of breaks, all at the breech side. With fresh paint, that consistantly matched, the accuracy at long range rivaled the boomsticks that we were using, and I even pulled out my old Perfect ceramic 14" to try it out. Accuracy at range was as good as anything that we could pull out of the barrel bag. If anyone has any opinions or facts about what I'm stating, please post. I don't want to think that I'm seeing things when that barrel spent a few months in my gear bag.

The reason this barrel looks the same as the aradus is that it is also made by psycho ballistics. I've shot one before with my autococker and it didn't shoot any better than my boomy. The velocity drop off is probably due to the space that occurs in the control section of the barrel so it is able to change bore sizes.
