The real issue may be that when you decide to upgrade to a tournament level marker, the cocker would be easier to upgrade than the A-5 without replacing the whole marker. There are insane numbers of available upgrades for the cocker, while for the A-5 you won't find too much. Regardless, for now you've got a good paintgun that's easy to maintain. Tippmann markers are reliable and will serve you well. If they are the same as when I had my old Pro-am (the predecessor to the Model 98 and others), then they're still almost indestructable. Have fun with it, and don't feel badly.

: I recently just boight a tippmann A-5. I think i'm beginning to regret it. For nearly the same price i could have gotten a WGP 2003 auto-cocker. Which is the better gun in terms of accuracy reliability and distance?
