hmmm personal experience

took a base 2002 vert blue autococker
changed the bolt (30 bucks)
changed the barrel (45 bucks)
put a drop forward and a air system on it (heres the big bucks the air tank was 139 and the drop was 30)
and changed the plastech gripframe out for a metal slide trigger frame (20 bucks)

so when all was said and done I spent 264 on upgrades (but bear in mind more than 50% of that is the tank) but it purrs like a kitten and the final price of it was under 600 WITH the tank...

its all relative =)
