: I'm pretty new to the advanced guns and tactics of paintball. But I'm wondering why some people have an expensive adjustable output nitro tank with an awesome regulator? Won't the reg do the work just fine? Can't u adjust the pressure of the nitro running through the gun through the reg? Just wondering. Thanx Most single stage regulators will slowly increase their output pressure as the pressure in the tank drops. To compensate for this, most people using high end guns add an inline regulator to function as second stage regulator (usually adjustable) to compensate. This keeps the gas pressure to the paintgun even more consistent. Smart Parts advertises that the Max Flow regulator is so consistent that secondary regulation is unecessary. See you on the field, |
