I agree with Bill (one of the prominent reasons I chose the Race), I installed a Race on my right feed cocker, no eye and zero chops using a Rev w/ x-board with the frame running at 11.5 bps. I recently switched to a Halo, have yet to play with it but I'm assuming even better performance with the Halo and QEV's. In my opinion the eye is not needed in my case, save some cash and get the Race. Hope it helps.

: : First, some background before my question. I have both an old MiniCocker and an old AutoCocker. The AutoCocker has had pretty extensive work done...my main concern is the low pressure set-up. It was sent off to Wildside Paintball for that to be done. It has the air chamber on the front block in place of the screw. I don't know about what was done internally to make it low pressure. Both guns date from around 1996. What I want to know is can I upgrade both of them to a new vertical feed body? Will I have to replace any of the internals? I want to get an Eclipse E-blade on both and to install the electronic eye, I've been told I need vertical bodies on both. Thanks for any info anyone can give. Sorry if this is a repost.

: A lot of the components on the Autococker have changed, and I'm not sure how many of the older components (especially front block, back block, and bolt will not be compatible) will carry over from your older model to a new vertical body.

: The big question is why do you *need* to go to a vertical body? It's not required for the Racegun conversion - I put a Racegun frame on my wife's Autococker (from around 1994) and it rips. If the only concern is installing the eye - you might consider instead, using a HALO loader, which will actively feed fast, so that needing the eye isn't an issue. I have yet to chop a ball with the HALO and no eye on this set-up.

: See you on the field,
: -Bill Mills
