Actually, it’s technically still possible. Generically speaking, Mad Cow comes from core central nervous system material. For Biology 101 students, if it contains “node”, it’s possible for it to hold Mad Cow. Brains and spinal cords contain by far the highest concentration, but some bones (like spinal column and I BELIEVE legs) are permeated with the same material that makes the spine. That’s why in most of Europe it’s not legal to clean off the bones of meat by rubbing/crushing the bones together.

Enough to worry about? I’ll still take my mask shots playing paintball and develop my Kodak film by hand.

I’m sure there’s a rancher or vet in here that has more info, but that’s what I know.
