After shooting cockers for about 8 years, I would say that once an autococker is set up, it requires as little maintenance as any other paintgun. The problem tends to be that they are complex enough that when something does go wrong or when something gets upgraded, the owner doesn't always know what needs to be changed. This is a result of not knowing how it works (like I said, it's complex). If you understand how they work, they're not much trouble at all.

A properly timed cocker with a swing trigger should be just about the fastest non-electro marker available.

Hope this helps.
Kevin

: Are autocockers diffiucult to maintain? How fast will an auto cocker shoot with a swing trigger?
