: Which gun has a smoother steadier firing cycle?
: Thanks

:: My experience is that the Angel is a little smoother and steadier. I believe that this is for a couple of reasons. The Angel is a heavier gun, so it is a somewhat more stable shooting platform. Also the Angel's bolt and ram seem to cause less movement of the gun when firing.

The Bushy is still easy to shoot very fast and keep on target, it just has a little more perceived kick. You can also minimize the kick by polishing the heck out of the shaft of the ram (keep it lubed with silicon grease), getting the Sonic LP reg and a highflow valve to reduce both the cocking pressure and the operating pressure. I have a Bushy that operates at about 190 psi; the LP is set at 70 psi. The perceived recoil on this gun is somewhat less than a stock Bushy.

If you aren't mechanical, contact Sam Smock ("Goldie"-see his post below). He's a certified ICD tech who can "Vaporize" a Bushy so it shoots more smoothly. This includes polishing the ram.

I like the fact that the Bushy is lighter than most every other gun out there; I shoot mine about as well as I can shoot an Angel (and I have played with a number of them).

Regards,
