: I have a Vaporized B2K2. I have tried several Barrels including the Boomstick and can't find a barrel that performs better than the stock barrel. Any suggestions you have that WORK?

:: I have two Bushies, one Vaporized. Like any gun, the primary determinant of accuracy and air efficiency is the paint-to-barrel fit, the smoothness of the bore; the key to consistency is round, consistent paint. To an extent, distance and accuracy can be affected by the barrel's unported length, more so with a low pressure gun like the Bushy than a higher pressure gun like the Angel.

The stock barrel is pretty large bore (about .692", if I remember right-I miked mine a few months ago). This means that it should shoot "recreational" (larger, typically less expensive) paint pretty well. I don't know the inside diameter of your Broomstick, but it's probably somewhat smaller than the stock barrel.

I prefer one piece (unstepped) aluminum barrels with minimal porting of 10" to12" length for the Bushy. The Lapco Autospirit (.686) and Lapco Bigshot (.689), and the Custom Products .685, .689 and .693 are all good examples. They are also a lot less costly than a Broomstick. The Freak system is very good for Cockers shooting at 350 psi, but I don't know that their 5-6" of unported length is enough for optimal performance with the Bushy.

Regards,

Superannuated
